NTL/Virgin to roll out high street stores in 2007

NTL, another most reviled ISP, is rolling out a whole bunch of shops for us to be attacked by zealous sales people in.

According to an interview with the FT, Neil Berkett, chief operating officer of NTL, has revealed its company’s plans to roll out a strong network of retail stores once it relaunches as Virgin in 2007. The company hopes to take advantage of the existing Virgin stores and it hopes the move will help to explain its quadruple-play offer (broadband, pay-TV, landline and mobile) more easily to existing and potential customers.

Better or worse? Better or worse? I don’t actually know.
